4. CONTROL PANEL
1. MODE OF THERAPY
Alternating mode: Continuously and
sequentially inflates and deflates the
air cells to remove constant pressure
and facilitate enhanced cell perfusion.
Static mode: Provides a stable inflated
surface of all cells at low pressure
compared to the corresponding comfort
level in alternating mode. The system then
redistributes the patient's weight over a
larger surface area.
2. CYCLE TIMES
To set the alternate pressure cycle time to 10, 15 or 20 minutes.
3. COMFORT SETTINGS
To adjust the comfort level according to the user's preferences or doctor's advice. There are 6 comfort
levels, 1 being the softest and 5 the firmest. The default setting is comfort level 1.
4. ALARM SILENCE
Press the alarm silence button to temporarily suspend the alarms. If the problem persists, the alarms will
sound again within 10 minutes to notify the caregiver until the problem is resolved.
5. LOW BATTERY CHARGE INDICATOR
A low battery alarm indicates approximately 1 hour of therapy remaining; charge the battery IMMEDIATELY
to avoid interrupting therapy. When the battery is charged, the audible visual alarms will be disabled.
6. LOW PRESSURE INDICATOR
When the pressure is below the set pressure, the low pressure indicator will illuminate along with the
audio alarm. Check if all connections are correctly made according to the instructions. If the pressure level
is continuously low, check if there is any leakage.
7. SWITCHING ON AND OFF
Allows the pump unit to be switched on and off.
8. BATTERY CHARGE INDICATOR
When the indicator light illuminates, AC power is charging the battery. Typical charging time is approximately
4.5 hours. The LED light will turn off when the battery is fully charged.
