Disposal
Warning Danger of suffocation!
Keep packaging parts out of the reach of children and
dispose of them as soon as possible.
The packaging protects the device from damage during
transport. The packaging materials are generally
selected according to environmentally compatible and
disposal aspects and are therefore recyclable. Returning
the packaging to the material cycle saves raw materials
and reduces the volume of waste. Packaging parts (e.g.
foils, Styrofoam®) can be dangerous for children.
Do not dispose of electrical equipment in household
waste, use the collection points in your community. Ask
your local authority for the locations of the collection
points. If electrical equipment is disposed of in an
uncontrolled manner, hazardous substances can enter
the groundwater and thus the food chain during
weathering, or flora and fauna can be poisoned for
years. If you replace the device with a new one, the seller
is legally obliged to accept the old one for disposal at
least free of charge.
When disposing of the device, the relevant regulations
on the disposal of used oil must be followed.
Defective equipment and/or equipment
requiring disposal must be taken to the
designated recycling points.
Dispose of batteries in an environmentally
friendly manner
Rechargeable batteries and batteries do not belong
in household waste. As a consumer, you are legally
obligated to return used batteries or rechargeable
batteries. At the end of the service life of your device, the
batteries or rechargeable batteries must be removed
and disposed of separately. You can return your old
batteries and accumulators to the local collection points
of your municipality or to your dealer or point of sale.
The return of accumulators and batteries to the point of
sale is free of charge.
If liquid leaks from a rechargeable battery or battery,
make sure that this liquid does not come into contact
with the skin or eyes. If it does come into contact,
immediately clean the skin or eyes with water and
contact a doctor. If rechargeable batteries and batteries
are disposed of in an uncontrolled manner, hazardous
substances may enter the groundwater and thus the
food chain during weathering, or flora and fauna may be
poisoned for years. By returning used as well as defective
rechargeable batteries and batteries, you make an
important contribution to the recycling of materials and
the protection of our environment.
Do not throw accumulators and batteries into the fire,
otherwise there is a risk of explosion! Accumulators
and batteries can also explode if they are damaged.
Li-Ion rechargeable batteries must be disposed of.
Have defective rechargeable batteries disposed of
by a specialist dealer. Rechargeable batteries must
be removed from the device before it is scrapped.
Damaged batteries can harm the environment and your
health if toxic vapors or liquids escape. Therefore, never
ship a defective battery by mail, etc. Please contact your
local disposal center.
Dispose of rechargeable batteries in a discharged state.
We recommend covering the terminals with an adhesive
strip to protect against a short circuit. Do not open the
battery.
