Operation

Lighting the fire pit
□ Make sure all debris is removed from the fire pit.
□ Place a layer of dry kindling or a natural firestarter onto the
center of the log rack (B).
□ Place above that a layer of dry seasoned hardwood that
is cut to lengths no more than 3/4 the width of the firebowl.
□ Use a long match to light kindling

Tending the fire
□ Using the fire poker (F), shift embers/wood logs to allow
additional airflow.
□ Wait until glowing embers have developed before adding
any additional wood. If additional wood is required, place
wood on top of embers. Be careful not to shift ashes.
□ Please don't close mesh lid (A) until the log fire turns to
charcoal fire.

Extinguishing the fire
□ Allow fire to burn itself out.
□ Do NOT use water to extinguish as this is dangerous and
can cause damage to the fire pit.
