PROBLEM
The jump starter won't
jump start my car.

9. BEFORE RETURNING FOR REPAIRS

If these solutions do not eliminate the problem, or for more information
about troubleshooting, contact customer service for assistance:
For REPAIR OR RETURN, contact Customer Service at 1-800-621-5485. DO NOT SHIP
UNIT until you receive a RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION (RMA) number
from Customer Service at Schumacher Electric Corporation.
When returning an item, place the original package into a shipping carton. If you received
an emailed label from Schumacher, please print the label and tape it to the carton. Only
ship via insured ground service with a tracking number. Return shipping charges
are the responsibility of the customer. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries and are not
responsible for lost or damaged packages. Please do not place stickers or shipping labels
on the original manufacturer's package. Please allow 2-3 days from date we received the
package for us to process your return. All return shipping charges must be prepaid.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Clamps are not making a good
connection to the battery.
Connections are reversed.
The jump starter's battery is not
charged.
The vehicle's battery is
defective.
The jump starter is not turned on.
The battery is bad (will not
accept a charge).

SOLUTION
Check for poor connection to
battery and frame. Make sure
connection points are clean.
Disconnect the jump starter and
reverse the clamps.
Press the Battery Status button
on the front of the unit. The LEDs
will indicate the status of charge.
Have the battery checked.
Press ON/OFF switch to turn on
the jump starter.
Have the battery checked.
Ready to jump start
Short circuit protection
Battery low voltage protection
Reverse charging protection
High temperature protection for unit
