NOTE 1: The 5550 IP uses the COM1 port on the PC to interface
with a Property Management System (PMS). Use of the port by other
applications is not recommended.
Mitel Communications Director (MCD) System
Requirements
The 5550 IP Console is supported by the Mitel 3300 Integrated
Communications Platform (ICP), Release 1.0 and later software.
The Multiple Company Directory feature requires 3300 ICP Release
9.0 or later.
The current release of software for the 5550 IP Console is supported
by Mitel Communications Director (MCD) Release 6.0.
PCs with Multiple Network Interface Cards
If you want to use an additional Network Interface Card (NIC) to
connect the 5550 IP Console to the LAN, then you must disable the
first NIC (default card) as follows:
1.
Click the Windows Start button > Settings > Control Panel.
2.
In Control Panel, double-click the System icon.
3.
In System Properties, click the Hardware tab, and then click
Device Manager.
4.
In Device Manager, right-click the NIC you want to disable under
Network Adapters, and then click Disable.
