Battery information
Leakage of battery acid can cause personal injury as well as
damage to your controller. If battery leakage occurs,
thoroughly wash the affected skin and clothes. Keep battery
acid away from your eyes and mouth. Leaking batteries may
make popping sounds.
To avoid battery leakage
■ Batteries should be installed and replaced only by an adult.
• Do not mix used and new batteries (replace all batteries at the
same time).
• Do not mix different brands of batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
(nickel cadmium) batteries.
• Do not leave batteries in the product for long periods
of non-use.
• Remove batteries and store them in a cool, dry place when
not in use.
• Remove depleted batteries from the unit.
• Do not put the batteries in backwards. Make sure that the
positive (+) and negative (-) ends are facing in the correct
direction. Insert the negative end first.
• Do not use damaged, deformed or leaking batteries.
• Do not short circuit battery terminals.
• Dispose batteries only at the government approved recycling
facilities in your area.
• Tampering with the product can result in damage to your
product, void of warranty and could cause injuries.
