Attaching and removing the
saw blade
CAUTION! Risk of injury when
touching the saw blade. Wear pro-
tective gloves when attaching the saw
blade.
Requirements
• The saw blade has a T-shank mount (single
lug shank) like the supplied saw blades
(16/17).
• The saw blade is suitable for the respective
material. Included are a large-toothed saw
blade for wood and a fine-toothed saw
blade for metal and plastic.
• The chuck is free of splinters or other materi-
al residue.
Installing the saw blade (Fig. B)
1. Turn the chuck (13) as far forward as pos-
sible and hold it firmly in this position.
2. Place the saw blade (16/17) into the chuck
(13). When inserting the saw blade, make
sure that the back of the saw blade is in the
notch of the guide roller (14).
3. Release the chuck (13).
4. Make sure that the saw blade (16/17) is
attached correctly and the teeth are point-
ing in the cutting direction.
Removing the saw blade (Fig. B)
1. Hold the saw blade (16/17) firmly.
2. Turn the chuck (13) as far forward as pos-
sible and hold it firmly in this position.
3. Remove the saw blade (16/17) from the
chuck (13).
4. Release the chuck (13).
