Note
: The assembly of the RIVER LINE unit requires a screwdriver. The door and the upper lid and drawer handles are shipped inside
the casing at the upper part of the unit.

Installation

Attach the throat to the unit smoke outlet;
At the smoke outlet, make sure that the throat has the diameter size specified in the above table of this guide and that no
shrinkage or blockage occurs;
Attach the tube to the upper part of the throat next to the smoke outlet;
Sequentially place the required tubes at their upper part ensuring the pipe has the proper height;
Attach each of the tubes to one another and secure them to the flue or to the outer wall, if appropriate;
To ensure a proper draught, use at least 2m of stainless steel flue tube (no curves), sealed to the masonry parts;
After this section, sections of tubing with maximum angle of 45º may be used. It is recommended that the installation is as
vertical as possible;
If the unit is to be installed in an existing masonry fireplace, it is recommended that the tubes are long enough to reach the
exterior air outlet; if the smoke outlet uses tubes only, these shall be at least 3 linear meters long;
Both the flue tube and the unit must be away from any combustible material. The use of a double-walled, insulated tube is
recommended;
The flue should allow for good air circulation and be placed at least 60cm above the top of any obstacle located within a
distance of 3m. Do not connect this unit to a flue serving another appliance;
The unit should stand on a hearth made of refractory bricks with a load capacity sufficient to support it;
