External antenna positioning (optional)
Both the in-panel stylus antenna and the external antenna should in any case meet the following
requirements:
-
The antenna must be located at least 2 m from any electronic equipment in the area and at
least 15 cm from any obstacle in such a position so as to allow good reception of the radio
field.
-
If while using the LX-GSM-01 malfunctions of or disturbances to local electrical equipment
are noticed move the antenna to another location.
-
Do not use the stylus antenna that comes with the LX-GSM-01 if the dialler is used in closed
or particularly shielded environments.
-
Do not hold the antenna with your hands when the equipment is in use. This lowers the qual-
ity of the connection in addition to demanding a transmission power increase.
-
Do not use the LX-GSM-01 with a damaged antenna.
