The appliance is designed for toasting or thawing bread, do not use
it for other purposes.
Do not touch the surface marked with the
appliance is on or off. These surfaces are hot.
Make sure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate corresponds
to that of your home electrical mains. Alternating current must be

TOAST BREAD:
1. Plug the appliance into a power outlet.
2. Place a maximum of two slices of bread in the slots.
3. Use the knob to set the desired level of bread browning. When
using the toaster for the first time, it is best to use a setting halfway
through the scale. You can then select a different setting, depend-
ing on the type of bread and your personal preferences.
4. When you have toasted your bread, removing the bread may be
difficult. In this case, raise the bread using the lowering lever.
5. Push the bread lift/lower lever all the way down until you feel
resistance and hear a click. The toasting will start automatically
when the stop button lights blue.
Note: if the toaster is unplugged from the power outlet, the lever
will not lock into place.
6. The appliance will turn off after achieving the set bread brown-
ing level. Press the stop button to stop the toasting at any time.
If a slice of bread gets stuck in the toaster, turn off the power and
remove the plug from the wall outlet. When the appliance has
cooled down completely, carefully pull out bread from the toaster
making sure not to damage the heaters.
DEFROST AND TOAST

BUN WARMING FEATURE
Do not use the bun warming rack to thaw frozen toast, warm up
buttered bread or filled bread rolls.
1. Use the bun warming rack (7) to warm and bake your buns.
2. Place the buns on the bun warming rack.
3. Set the browning level to 1­2 (depending on your preference),
then push down the lever.
4. Press the toasting lever down until it locks into place. You can
remove the buns from the bun warming rack when the toasting
lever pops up.
Note! The bun warming rack becomes very hot.
CLEANING AND CARE:
1. Before any cleaning or maintenance, make sure that the appli-
ance is unplugged from the power source and has cooled down
completely.
2. Do not use corrosive or abrasive substances for cleaning. Use
only clean water with a mild detergent.
3. Wipe the casing of the appliance with a damp cloth, do not
under any circumstances immerse the appliance in water or any
other liquid or aim jets of water at it. Dry the appliance thoroughly
after cleaning.
4. To remove crumbs from the toaster, remove the crumb tray,
empty it and reinsert it.
5. To remove any crumbs inside the appliance, place the appliance
over a sink, turn it upside down and shake it gently. The crumbs
inside the device should fall out.
Clean the crumb tray regularly after each use. Do not allow crumbs
to accumulate in the tray, as this may cause a fire.
