• It must not be used by children unless the handset has been
pre-adjusted by a responsible person, or the child has at least
been told how to control it properly and safely.
• When using for the first time, you may notice a slight odour
due to the synthetic materials.
• The cable and the control unit of the appliance can present
risks of entanglement, strangulation, tripping or crushing, if
they are not correctly arranged. The user must ensure that
excess electrical cables and connections are arranged in a
safe manner.
• The cleaning and maintenance done by users, can not be done
by children without any supervision.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or by its after-sales service or similar qualified
personnel in order to avoid any danger.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
• Insert the connector (4) into the base (5). Connect the appliance to the mains and, first of all, place the On
switch (2) in its maximum position (no. 6). Keep it in this position for some minutes. Then, if you wish, you
may turn it down.
• Notice the switch positions.
- Position 1-2:
Minimum heat.
- Position 3-4
Medium heat.
- Position 5-6:
Maximum heat.
- Position 0:
Turned off.
• The model CT30 has been especially designed to relieve back and cervical pains. The adhesive belt in the top
allows you to adjust it in the neck and with the plastic band you can adjust it to the body. Nevertheless you
can use this model in any other part of your body with the same therapeutic benefits.
• Stretch it well out on the desired part of your body, without folds or bends. Cover it with a towel, blanket or
similar item. This will prevent loss of heat. It will be more effective when the pillow and its slip are in contact
with your skin.
AUTO OFF
• The pillow has a timer that automatically disconnects it after 90 minutes have elapsed since starting to be
used.
• If you wish to continue using it when such system has disconnected it, you must place the On switch (2) in the
"0" position, wait a few seconds and then place the switch in the desired position.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before cleaning, make sure that it is disconnected from the mains and left to cool.
• Always remove the connector from the heating pad before cleaning.
• The heating pad may be washed sporadically with water (not in a washing-machine) at no more than 30 ºC.
Use a soft detergent. Bleach must not be used nor must it be dried in a dryer. It must not be ironed.
• Before using it again be sure the heating pad is totally dry.
• Do not use chemical or abrasive products, metallic scourers to clean the appliance.
