Secure the workpiece sufficiently. An
inadequately secured workpiece can,
for example, cause the grinding accessory to
jam. This can lead to kickback, cause the
workpiece to fall down, and lead to other
dangerous situations.
Dry grinding (figure 14).
Observe a lead angle of 20 – 40°. This will
ensure a good removal rate.
Apply uniform pressure with the
power tool and move it over the sur-
face.
Avoid excessive heating of the work-
piece surface.
Cutting (figure 15).
Always work in an up-grinding motion,
so that the cutting disc will not jump
out of the cut.
