• Attention: the food container (2) must not be placed directly over the tank. This bowl must be placed
always inside the recipients.
• Plug the appliance to the mains and turn clockwise the timer knob (12) to choose the desired time of
function (maximum 60 minutes). When you do so the indicator (13) will light on and the steam will begin
to flow in a short time.
• When the time programmed runs out the appliance will go off automatically. Then an acoustic signal will
ring and the pilot light (13) will be off.
• If you wish to stop before the time runs out, disconnect it from the mains.
• When cooking, if the appliance is without water in the tank (9), the appliance will switch off automatically
to avoid an overheating.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before cleaning the appliance ensure it is unplugged from the mains and wait for the heating element and
the tank to be cold.
• When using and depending on the hard water areas some calc residues can accumulate in the tank and in
the heating element. To remove those residues, follow the next steps:
- Fill the tank until the maximum indication "MAX" with white vinegar and water solution.
- Remove the cover (7) and do not place any accessory.
- Plug the appliance to the mains and set the timer up to 20 minutes.
- When the timer ring rinse the tank twice with water.
• Clean the accessories with soap and water and then rinse carefully afterwards.
• Use a dampened cloth to clean the main body.
• Do not use abrasive or chemical products, metallic scourers, which may deteriorate the surfaces of the
appliance.
• To store it, you can roll the cable in the cord collector (15) placed in the lower part of the appliance.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
• Dispose the appliance according to the local garbage regulations.
• Never throw it away to the rubbish. So you will help to the improvement of the environment.
