SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Always use Heater in accordance with instructions supplied with
each heater. Keep instructions in a safe place.
- DO NOT place clothing or other material on the heater.
This could cause a fire hazard or affect the efficiency of the
appliance.
- DO NOT place heater near furniture, sofas, beds, etc.
- DO NOT move the heater from one room to another when it is on.
- DO NOT place the heater near walls, furniture, curtains, clothing
bedding or any flammable material, as this could
cause a fire hazard.
- The following minimum distances must be respected: 50 cm from
the sides and 100 cm from the front ALWAYS orient the heater
toward the center of the room. The heater should be placed in
a level surface at all times.
If a leak is suspected. DO NOT disconnect the regulator. Shut off
the gas supply at the gas regulator. Take the appliance outdoors in
an atmosphere free of flames. Turn on the gas supply and check all
connections. Take the test to detect
leaks. (This test is described below, in the section "Heater setup")
If a leak is found, turn off the gas. DO NOT use the heater again
until it has been checked by a Competent Person in accordance
with the Gas Installation and Use Regulations 1998.
