Start-up for cooking and loading/
unloading products
N.B.!Before proceeding with these operations, see
"Daily activation".
When lighting for the first time, wait for the pos-
sible formation of air inside the gas circuit to fully
escape from the duct.
Start the appliance only after having filled the
cooking cavity with oil at the proper level.
Too much oil inside the cooking cavity can cause
it to spill over and the residual risk of being burnt
remains.
If there is no oil inside the cooking cavity while the
appliance is on there is the residual risks of fires.
Make sure that the drain valve is shut (figure 1).
Pour the product used for cooking (oil or grease) into the
tank, respecting the minimum/maximum level shown on
the tank itself (figure 2).
N.B.! When using grease (lard or the likes) in the
solid state, the thermostat must be set at minimum
to allow it to melt slowly and gradually inside the
tank.
During operations, the level of the product used
must remain at the minimum and maximum levels
shown inside the tank.
Ignition (Figure 2-3)
Turn the knob (figure 2 Detail A) to "1". When the green
indicator light turns on (figure 2 Detail B) it confirms the
electrical operating phase.
Turn the knob while holding it in the piezoelectric posi-
tion (figure 2 Detail C) until the pilot light is lit.
Then turn it to the burner ignition position (figure 2
Detail D). Check to make sure the pilot light remains lit
(figure 3).
N.B.! The pilot light can be seen through the hole
on the panel.
When the pilot light has been lit, turn the thermostat
knob to the desired position (figure 3 Detail e) to set
the operating temperature.
When the yellow indicator light is on it means that the
heat-up phase is in progress (figure 3 Detail f).
