Thank you for purchasing this product. The bike carrier shall be assembled and fitted securely in
accordance with the instructions. This carrier is suitable for assembling at the front of the caravan.
Weight 5kg.
1. Always position the biggest and/or heaviest bike first, and then position the other.
2. Before departure all loose parts should be taken off the bikes, like child seats, (content of) baskets,
locks and cycle pumps etc. The bikes should contain no loose items during transport and cause danger
to others.
3. Always secure all bikes to the bike carrier frame using the included long and short straps.
4. Check that belts and other fasteners are secure, retighten if necessary. Be aware that the tube in the
middle is secured.
5. Due to the big wind pressure by installation on frames, please do not use a bike cover.
6. Replace any damaged or worn parts immediately. These can ban obtained separately. Modifications
to this product are not permitted.
SAFETY IN TRAFFIC
1. Caution. The car's on-road behaviour may change because of heaver load, especially when taking
curves and during braking when the product is fitted.
2. Speed should always be tailored to suit safety considerations with regard to traffic conditions and
the load being carried.
3. Check that the bike carrier is securely fitted after driving a short distance and thereafter at regular
intervals.
4. The bikes themselves may increase the caravan's total width and height. Take special care when
manoeuvre in all directions. Take care at uneven roads, sudden slope, reversing or entering ferries etc.
5. The carrier is constructed to carry standard-bike-frames. Stick to the maximum loading weight of
40kg.
6. The vehicle driver is solely responsible for ensuring that the product is in faultless condition and that
carrier and load is securely fastened.
MAINTAINANCE
Clean the bike carrier regularly using warm water or car shampoo, especially when using / after using
at coasts (salt-water) or during times when salt on roads is being used (winter). Keep the instructions
safely in the car and for future use.
