REASON – ACTION
1. No current in the mains socket or
2. efective fuse in fullymains plug is inserted insulated
socket or
3. defective energy saving lamp illuminant.
1. Possible defect of the device or
2. Defect of the monitoring circuitry
1. Foreign matter may possibly be in or on the (air flow)
extraction air opening (to be removed) or
2. Possible defect of the integrated extraction air
ventilator.
The filter has almost reached its saturation limit; a timely
(filter monitoring) replacement is called for!
The filter is almost fully saturated and the ventilator has
been switched o . The filter must now be changed quickly.
The permissible operating time of the filter has expired.
The filter must now be changed quickly.
ALARM SOUNDS
There are two di erent alarm sounds. If both are simultaneously activated, they ring out after one
another at an interval of approx. 6 seconds.
Tone sequence 1: short – short – long
Tone sequence 2: long – short – long – short
The ventilator capacity is su cient for a minimum ten-fold change of air for those cabinet models
listed under the „Purpose" item.
The faultless ventilation function is automatically controlled by a monitoring electronics system.
A di erential pressure measurement device monitors air volumes in the extraction air shaft.
An alarm is triggered (C3) when the air rated value is undercut by around 50 %. The optical alarm
only stops when the rated value is again attained.
The supplied three-pin plug is needed for using the voltage-free alarm contact. Only the two exter-
nal terminals are connected to the plug! Internally a contact is switched (opened) as soon as the
extraction air inlet on the top reaches the prescribed volumetric flow. An extraction air fault or filter
saturation can therefore be signalised in this way. Furthermore it is signalised when the extraction
air inlet on the top is disconnected from the mains.
NOTES - must be observed!
The C13 cable must be removed before replacing the fuses
