Placement & Setup
Desktop
Prior to use, it is recommended that the switch be placed/positioned: with a minimum of 25 mm (approx.
1") of clearance on the top and sides for adequate ventilation; away from sources of electrical noise:
radios, transmitters, broadband amplifiers, etc.; within 100 m (approx. 328') of network devices it's to be
connected to. Attach the rubber feet to the bottom of each corner of the switch to increase stability.
Wall Mounting
First, install screws (not included) into the wall at appropriate distances.
Then, hang the unit on the screws and slide it into place so it is secure.
Setup
The switch can be powered via PoE (95W) or AC power:
• Connect Port 6 (PoE In / PD) to a PoE injector or PoE switch;
• Plug the included power cable into an AC outlet.

Basic Web-Based Browser Management
1 Open your Web browser.
2 Enter http:// and the IP address of the switch in the Address field.
The default management IP address is 192.168.2.1.
3 Press Enter to display the login screen. In the Username field, enter admin; in the
Password field, enter the serial number on the bottom of the switch. Click OK.
