2a. Öffnen Sie den Karabiner und haken Sie ihn in
einer Befestigungsöse am Werkzeug ein.
2b. Schließen Sie den Karabiner.
3. Befestigen Sie das andere Ende des
Werkzeugsicherungsgurts an einem
Befestigungspunkt am Körper oder an einem
anderen geeigneten Befestigungspunkt. Hierfür
können Sie entweder die Schlaufe oder den
Karabiner des Sicherungsgurts verwenden.
Befestigen Sie das Halteband am Werkzeug. Siehe
dazu Beispiele in Abbildung A, B.
Um den Karabiner am Befestigungspunkt
einzuhaken, den Verschluss verdrehen (1.) und
gegen den Rücken drücken (2.), siehe Abbildung C.
INSPEKTION
GURTBAND/SEIL: Auf Schnitte, Abrieb,
Ausfransen, Brandstellen, Schmutz, Verfärbungen
prüfen.
NÄHTE: Auf Verschleiß, Ausfransen und Schnitte
prüfen.
METALLTEILE: Auf Verformung, Risse, scharfe
Kanten, Rost prüfen und Funktionsfähigkeit
sicherstellen.
BESCHRIFTUNGEN: Auf Lesbarkeit prüfen und
korrekte Befestigung sicherstellen.
GRUNDGEWEBE: Auf Verschleiß, Schnitte, Abrieb
und Beschädigung von Strukturnähten prüfen.
PFLEGE
Befreien Sie die Ausrüstung nach dem Gebrauch
von Schmutz, Rost und Fremdstoffen und lagern
Sie sie an einem sauberen, trockenen Ort ohne
Brandgase oder korrosive Substanzen. Durch eine
gute Pflege Ihrer Ausrüstung stellen Sie die
ordnungsgemäße Funktion sicher und verlängern
die Gebrauchsdauer.
REINIGUNGSANLEITUNG
• Wischen Sie mit einem mit Wasser befeuchteten
Lappen den Schmutz von der Oberfläche ab.
• Tauchen Sie den Lappen in eine milde
Seifenlösung oder ein mildes Reinigungsmittel.
Erzeugen sie einen dicken Schaum und reinigen
Sie das Produkt.
• Wischen Sie es mit einem sauberen Tuch ab und
hängen Sie es an einem nicht zu warmen Ort
ohne Wasserdampf- und Sonnenexposition zum
Trocknen auf.
LAGERUNG
Lagern Sie den Werkzeugsicherungsgurt an einem
sauberen, trockenen Ort ohne direkte
Sonneneinstrahlung.
HAFTUNGSAUSSCHLUSS
Metabo haftet in keinem Fall für direkte, indirekte,
strafbare, fahrlässige, bestimmte oder
Folgeschäden, die aus einem Fehlgebrauch des
Metabo-Werkzeugsicherungsgurts resultieren oder
damit zusammenhängen.

Application:
The purpose of this lanyard it to prevent objects
from falling when working at heights. It may only be
used by trained users at the workplace.
The small loop (1) may only be used as additional
securing of the battery pack with a Metabo safety
connection.
WARNINGS
• Never use the tool securing lanyard to secure
persons.
• Only for use by trained persons. The users must
be trained regard to tool securing and the use of
tools at heights.
• Inspect the tool securing lanyard before each
use. Ensure that the carabiner closes safely and
that the fabric is not damaged.
• Make sure that there are never any knots in the
tool securing lanyard and never attach the
carabiner to the tool securing lanyard itself.
Never loop the safety strap through the
carabiner.
• Never extend the tool securing lanyard. Never
attach the tool securing lanyard to ropes, cords or
other tool securing straps. Do not use any
