! - This symbol identifies risks of injury or damages to
the equipment.
! Should you not observe the instructions stated in this
manual, risk of injury arises.
! The electric plane complies with applicable technical
regulations and standards.
! Maintain your power tool regularly. Check if moving
parts are properly positioned and not jammed, check
for possible damages and also check all conditions in-
fluencing the power tool operation. If any of its parts
is damaged, have the power tool repaired before use.
Many injuries are caused by poorly maintained power
tools.
! Cutting blades must always be sharp and clean.
Properly maintained cutting blades with sharp cutting
edges do not get jammed and may be operated more
easily.

handle them with care.
! Make sure that no nails, screws or any other foreign
substances, e.g. varnish or paint, are present on the
surface that you are going to work on.
! Do not use damaged or worn blades. Use only sharp
ones.

! During work, always keep the power tool in the plane
with the part being processed. Try to keep continuous
movement of the plane forwards.
! Keep the same pressure on the front and rear plane
parts.
! Do not use power tools if any part is missing or dam-

USE AND OPERATION
The ASIST equipment and machines are designed for
domestic or hobby use only.
The manufacturer and the importer do not recommend
to use this equipment under extreme conditions and at
high loads. Any other additional requirements must be
agreed upon by the manufacturer and the buyer.
Mounting/Demounting of Plane Blades (B,C,D)
Blades in your plane are exchangeable. Always re-
place both blades. Never sharpen the blades your-
selves. If blunt, replace both blades. The blades are
sharp, be cautious during their replacement.
Attention: Before blade replacement, disconnect the
power cable from the power source. When replacing
blades, always wear gloves.
Using a delivered wrench, loosen three screws on the
cylinder in clockwise direction.
Note: Loosen the screws partially only. If the screws
are loosened too much, new blades will not be at-
tached precisely.
Before demounting the worn blades, note the direc-
tion of cutting and also the to which side the narrowed
edge of demounted blades is directed. The narrowed
edge of new blades must be directed in the same di-
rection as the original ones.
Demount the safety cover and using the wrench tip (or
screwdriver tip) press the blades from the cylinder and
pull them out carefully.
