RDE50.1RF/SET is a programmable
thermostats that allows the user to
improve the comfort at home and, at the
same time, also allows to reduce the
energy consumption by a weekly
selection of:
• The periods when you want to
maintain a higher temperature
(
Comfort mode)
• The periods when temperature can be
lower (
Economy mode)

To set the time and day, press the set button until

The dot under the days flashes, press the + or – button to scroll the dot until it reaches the desired day. Press
ok to confirm.
Press esc to exit or wait for 15 sec and the system exits automatically.

Energy saving tips without sacrificing comfort
•
Air out rooms for short periods of time only, and do so properly with the windows wide open.
•
Set your room temperatures to around 21 °C.
•
As a general calculation role, the reduction of 1 º C in the temperature setpoint produces a 7% energy saving.
Selection of operation modes (Comfort mode
Thermostat provides the option of selecting Comfort mode, Economy mode and Auto mode. The changeover
between the Comfort and Economy modes can be made either manually via the operating mode button or
automatically as per the 7-day time programs in Auto mode.
Comfort mode corresponds to occupancy periods where you want to maintain the Comfort temperature.
Economy mode corresponds to no occupancy periods and also period when you want to maintain the E conomy
temperature, e.g., during the nights.
Energy saving tips without sacrificing comfort
• Use Auto mode during the heating period, and set the time programs according to your normal habits at home.
• Use Economy mode or Holiday mode during long periods of no occupancy and during summer period.
• Press the mode button to switch between Comfort
• Press ok to confirm the selected mode or wait 5 seconds and the system exits automatically.

may adjust the room temperature setpoint at any mode:

Press the + or – button to adjust the temperature. Press ok to confirm.

The temperature can be set from 4...35 °C, with steps of 0.5 º C.
Thermostat connects and disconnects the heating to maintain the selected setpoint in
the room.
*Note: In Auto mode, the change is only valid up to the next mode switching time.
Comfort mode is a permanent (24 h) selection of the Comfort setpoint (20 º C). Use
this option when you want to maintain the Comfort temperature permanently without any
time program.
Economy mode is a permanent (24 h) selection of the Economy setpoint (16 º C). Use
this option when you want to maintain the Economy temperature permanently without
any time program, e.g., during the summer period without heating.
Auto mode changes automatically from Comfort mode to Economy mode following
the time schedules prepared for every day of the week.
Press and hold the mode button for 7 seconds. This activates the keypad lock. Do the same
to unlock it.
With the keypad lock activation the thermostat works normally, but it is not possible to do
any change until the unlock is done.
