OPERATION
INSTALLING/REMOVING BATTERY PACK
See Figure 6, page 10.
Insert the battery pack into the battery port as shown.
Make sure the latch on the battery pack snaps into place
and the battery pack is secured in the product before
beginning operation.
Depress the latch and pull to release and remove the
battery pack.
For complete charging instructions, see the operator's
manuals for your battery pack and charger.
WARNING:
Always remove battery pack or unplug extension cord
from your product when you are assembling parts,
making adjustments, cleaning or when not in use.
Removing battery pack or unplugging extension cord
will prevent accidental starting that could cause serious
personal injury.
INSTALLING/REMOVING POWER CORD
See Figure 7, page 10.
WARNING:
Do not route cord under carpets, rugs, runners,
furniture, or appliances and always route cord away
from traffic areas to prevent a tripping hazard.
Insert the female end of the power cord into the product's
AC receptable as shown.
Connect the male end of the power cord to the power
source.
Make sure the power cord is secured before beginning
operation.
POWER BUTTON (HIGH/LOW/OFF)
See Figure 8, page 10.
The hybrid tripod light will be in the OFF position until the
power button is pressed. The power button is located on
handle.
Connect the product to an AC or DC power supply.
Press and release the power button once to activiate the
HIGH mode.
Press and release the button again for LOW mode.
Press and release the button a third time to turn the work
light OFF.
NOTE: This light is equipped with a low voltage indicator.
If the light flashes three times while a battery pack is installed,
this indicates a low charge condition. Three additional
flashes indicate a shutdown will follow quickly. Install a
charged battery pack and resume operation.
WARNING:
Hybrid tools are always in operating condition. There-
fore, unit should always be in the OFF status, with the
battery pack removed and power cord disconnected,
when not in use. Do not leave light on while unattended.
Failure to follow these instructions could result in
serious personal injury.
WARNING:
Keep work light away from combustible materials. If
wrapped or in contact with fabrics, the work light lens
can produce sufficient heat to melt some fabrics. To
avoid serious personal injury, never allow the work light
lens to come in contact with anything.
WARNING:
Do not direct the LED light at persons or animals and
do not stare into the LED light yourself (not even from a
distance). Staring at the LED light may result in serious
injury or vision loss.
ADJUSTABLE HEAD
See Figure 5, page 10.
CAUTION:
Do not place hands or fingers between adjustable head
and frame when positioning work light to avoid pinching
your fingers or hands.
The adjustable head can be tilted forwards and back-
wards 220°. Adjust the light head as desired.
