Filters and tank cleaning. Fig. 8
-
To avoid the appliance from overheating and losing suction power, it is suggested to clean
the filters frequently. To make the most of the suction power, it is suggested to clean the
filter after every use.
-
The filters shelf life will depend on the accumulated use and the type of particles which
are frequently vacuumed. It is recommended to replace the filters approximately every 6
months.
Make sure the vacuum cleaner is switched off and is not connected to a mains socket.
1.
Press the dust-tank release button and remove it.
2.
3.
Remove the filter system from inside the tank and separate the filters for cleaning.
Put the filters back in their original position inside the dust tank.
4.
Refit the dust tank.
5.
-
Vacuum and shake the filters to remove every particle and dust remain that may block
them and difficult the correct air circulation. Remember not to use the vacuum cleaner
without the filters properly assembled.
-
Filters cannot be washed inside a washing machine nor dried with a hair dryer.
-
Do not brush the high-efficiency filter.
Cleaning the brushes
-
The brushes rotate at high speed and help to pull the dirt into the suction mouth. These
brushes are in contact with the floor and therefore in contact with dirt, so they can wear
out over time, affecting negatively the cleaning efficiency. It is recommended to clean the
the brushes once a week (depending on usage frequency).
1. Make sure the vacuum cleaner is switched off and is not connected to a mains socket.
2. Slide the tab located on the side of the motorised brush. Fig. 8
3. You can then remove the Jalisco brush and the Mixed brush from inside the motorised dual
brush and clean it.
