carefully read the information in this manual on

correct setup and safe techniques.

This machine is designed for cutting logs up to
30 cm in diameter (*) and a maximum of 104 cm in
49
length (*), with the ends cut perpendicular to the axis
of the trunk by shears due to pressure generated by
49
a hydraulic piston that applies the blade to the trunk.
Any other use could be dangerous to you, people,
50
animals and things that are around and can damage
51 the machine.
Only cut trunks that have the ends perpendicular to
the axis of the trunk. The ends of the logs to be cut
should be at a right angle.
Make sure there are no nails or foreign objects in the
trunks being cut. Foreign objects and nails may be
projected and cause major injury.
Do not cut logs that have branches. The branches
should be cut in flush with the trunk.
Do not use this machine to try to cut any other object
that is not a trunk. This machine and its safety devices
are designed for cutting logs. Trying to cut different
