MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Before servicing your cracker, you should do the following:
1.) Turn off the engine.
2.) Move the control valve handle back and forth to relieve hydraulic pressure.
After performing maintenance, be sure to put all protections, shields, and safety features back in
place. Failure to comply with this warning may result in serious injury.
Refer to the engine owner's manual for engine maintenance.

Waste energy must be released from the pressurized hydraulic circuit before any maintenance or repair
work is performed on the wood splitter. Hydraulic fluid can remain highly pressurized even when your
machine's engine is turned off. Pressurized hydraulic fluid leakage can penetrate the skin and cause serious
injury.
To depressurize the hydraulic circuit:
1. Turn off the engine
2. Move the blade actuation levers back and forth, at least four times.
3. 3. Hold the valve for three seconds at each travel limit.
