After selecting the system item, press [ENTER],
the screen appears as shown on the right.
4.2.1 Read DTC
Select [Read DTC] and press [ENTER],
it will jump to the screen as shown on the right.
Press [UP] or [DOWN] button to highlight one desired item
and press [ENTER], the screen appears as shown on the
right.

B Indicates there are total 8 codes and
SPN 0100 is the first code to display.
Generally, there are three elements displayed on the first row and the second row indicates details
descriptions on DTC.
•
SPN (Suspect Parameter Number) – Indicate what function on the ECU has failed.
•
FMI (Failure Mode Indicator) - Indicate what way the function failed.
•
OC (Occurrence) – Indicate the occrrence times of the current DTC.
When choosing [SAE J1587/1708], the faults codes will be
displayed similar to the screen on the right.
•
SID (Subsystem Indentifier) – Indicate what function
on the ECU has failed.
•
FMI (Failure Mode Indicator) - Indicate what way the
function failed.
•
OC (Occurrence) – Indicate the occrrence times of the
current DTC.
Press [LEFT] [RIGHT] button to the next or previous code;
press [ENTER] to exit and return to the Function screen.
