Join a 1/2" NPT pipe elbow (locallyavailable)to the malethreads at the
manifoldentrance.Whenjoined, causethe open threadsof the elbowto
facetowardtheleft sideofthe appliance. I nstallthe appliance in itscounter
cutout.
Joina 1/2" NPT pipe nippleto the elbowusinga pipe sectionof sufficient
lengthto extend,horizontally,beyondthe left side of the wall oven. (To
accomplish this it maybe necessary to extend the pipesectionintoadjacent
cabinetry.) Join additional 1/2" NPT elbow(s) and pipe nipples, as
necessary, t o accomplish the following:
Join the outlet of the appliance pressure regulatorsupplied with this
applianceto the male threads of the newly installed gas supply piping.
Installtheapplianceregulatorina locationwhichwill be accessiblebeside
or belowthe wall oven. Insurethe applianceregulatorisinstalledwith its
directionalarrowpointingin the directionofgasflow.Tightentheappliance
regulatorto 20 to 30 ft-tbs of torque.

Locateandjoin a manualshut-offvalvein an accessiblelocationinthe gas
line aheadof the applianceregulatorand externalto the appliancefor the
purposeof turningon or shuttingoff gasto the appliance.
Makeadditional p ipe connections as necessary aheadoftheshut-offvalve
to the gas supplysource.Assureall pipe joint connections are gas tight.
IMPORTANT
Applya non-corrosive leakdetectionfluidto all jointsand fittings inthe
gas connectionbetweenthe supply line shut-offvalve and the range.
Includegasfittings andjoints in the rangeif connections weredisturbed
during installation.Checkfor leaks!Bubblesappearingaroundfittings
andconnections wilt indicatea leak.If a leakappears, t urnoff supplyline
gasshut-offvalve,tighten connections, t urnon the supply linegas shut
off valve, and retestfor leaks. Nevertest for gas leaks with an open
flame.
