INSTALLATION

PART 2: Install the Keeper

1. Using a screwdriver, adjust the keeper
assembly (Figure 11) to align with the
latch body (Figure 6). Maximum adjustment
has been reached when the max travel
indicator mark on the keeper assembly
reaches the gate edge (Figure 10).
2. Position the vertical alignment mark on the
keeper assembly between the two outer
marks on the latch body (Figure 7). The
ideal location is closer to the top mark.
3. Secure the keeper assembly to the gate while
in this position using two (included) flat head
mounting screws as shown in Figure 8.
4. Open the gate and adjust the keeper
assembly out to expose the two remaining
screw locations (Figure 9). Install two
(included) flat head mounting screws and
then return the keeper assembly back to
the properly-aligned position.
