1.0 PRE-RIDE SAFETY CHECK
We recommend that you perform a safety check before each use to make sure your wheelchair operates smoothly and safely.
Perform the following inspec ons prior to using your wheelchair:
--Check the condi ons of the res. Make sure they are not damaged or excessively worn.
--Check all brakes. Make sure they are in working order.
--Check the seat. Make sure it is not excessively worn.
If you discover a problem, contact your authorized provider for assistance.

4.0 GENERAL SAFETY – WARNINGS FOR SAFE USE
WARNING! Failure to follow the instruc ons which are described in this user guide may result in damage to the wheelchair or body injuries to the
user.
WARNING! Avoid using your wheelchair on roads.
WARNING! Do not use your wheelchair on sand, rough terrain or wet and slippery surfaces.
WARNING! Do not use the wheelchair if it is broken or not func oning correctly.
WARNING! The wheelchair is not suitable for use as a seat in a motor vehicle. The wheelchair could fail in a vehicle impact, leading to injury of the
wheelchair occupant or others.
WARNING! Before leaning or reaching forward, always push your bo om to the back of the chair and face the castors forwards.
WARNING! Do not use hand brake to slow your descent down an incline. Abruptly changing direc ons while going down an incline could cause
instability or possible pping over.
WARNING! Never connect anything to the wheels. This may cause damage to the wheelchair and aff ects the balance of the wheelchair and may
injury the user.
WARNING! Always engage the brakes when you are in or on a li and when you want to get off .
WARNING! Never exceed the maximum load and never use the wheelchair to transport more than one person.
WARNING! For suitable protec on from poten al obstruc on, the footrests should have a minimum clearance of 7 cm from the ground.
WARNING! Never stand on the footplates. This will cause the wheelchair to p over and injure the user (Fig 4.0.1).
WARNING! Always place the wheelchair on a stable, fl at surface and engage the brakes before transferring to or from the wheelchair.
WARNING! Unauthorized modifi ca on and or use of parts not supplied by the provider will invalidate the warranty of this wheelchair and may lead
to injury to the user or damage to the wheelchair.
