5.0 OPERATING INSTRUCTION
5.1 UNFOLDING WHEELCHAIR
1. Stand beside the wheelchairs
2. Hold both seat tubes and move them apart.
3. Push both seat tubes downwards to unfold the wheelchair. (Fig 5.1.1)
4. Lock seat tubes in place and check if seat upholstery is fl at.
5. Replace the footrests, put down the footplates, and unfold the backrest.
Wheelchair is now ready for using.
5.2 FOLDING WHEELCHAIR
1. Folded down backrest, and fold the footplate and remove the footrests.
2. Stand beside the wheelchair
3. Hold the edges of the seat in the middle of the seat upholstery and pull the it straight up. (Fig 5.2.1)
5.3 FOLDED DOWN BACKREST
1. The backrest is quick and easy to fold for storage and when transpor ng the wheelchair.
2. Stand behind the wheelchair and squeeze the two black levers (Fig 5.3.1) together and at the same me fold down the backrest.
3. The folding mechanism is now unlocked and you can fully fold down the backrest (Fig 5.3.2).
4. To raise the backrest from the folded posi on, hold both handles and li up together to click lock(Fig 5.3.3).
5.4 REMOVING THE FOOTREST
1. To remove footrest, stand at front of the wheelchair. Pull the inserter upwards (Fig 5.4.1).
Pull the footrests outwards and remove them off the brackets (Fig 5.4.2).
5.5 INSTALLING THE FOOTREST
1. To install footrest, place the footrest into the wheelchair brackets(Fig 5.5.1), Push it inward.
2. Put the inserter into the hole to fi x the footrest (Fig 5.5.2).
3. Check the footrest is securely fi xed (Fig 5.5.3).
