CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The appliance or any of its components are not suitable for dishwashers.
Clean the appliance after using it and once it has cooled down.
Before cleaning turn off the appliance with the button (11), disconnect it and wait until it cools
down.
Pour water out of the appliance after each use.
Never immerse the appliance in water or rinse under running water.
External surfaces can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, cleaning powder, acetone, alcohol etc. to clean the appliance.
Accessories (1, 16, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27) should be cleaned with water with some dish washing
iquid and thoroughly rinsed under running water.
Nozzles (15, 28) can be washed in a washing machine with some detergent. Do not use softeners
or bleaches. Dry by spreading flat.
DESCALING
If the appliance starts producing less steam than usual or stops producing steam altogether, it may be
necessary to to remove the limescale. Scale can build up over time on the metal parts of the appliance
and significantly affect its performance. Periodic descaling is recommended after approximately 50 uses.
The frequency of removal depends on the hardness of the tap water and the frequency of mop use.
If particularly hard water is available in the area where you live, it may be necessary to use demineralised
water.
USING A CLEANING SOLUTION
• Make sure the appliance is unplugged and the switch (11) is set to the "0" position.
• Prepare the solution: 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 tap water and pour into the tank (18) (max. 300 ml).
• Position the appliance so that the steam outlet is directed away from the floor or surrounding
• surrounding objects and surfaces.
• Connect the appliance to the mains supply and switch on using the button (11).
• Turn the steam regulator to the right and wait until the tank is empty.
• If necessary, repeat the entire procedure.
• Finally, fill the tank with clean water, switch on the appliance and wait until the tank is empty.
• If the tips are stained, soak them in the cleaning solution and leave them to soak for several minutes.

NOTE
Do not leave the appliance unattended during the descaling process and/or during use. After
descaling, perform a test on a suitably insulated surface to ensure that there is no residual
solution in the appliance.
