10.2. Checks to carry out before working
Before starting to work with the equipment, it is essential to verify:
• which is located on a flat surface.
• that its stability is guaranteed.
• that the bucket is in its position.
• that the upper hopper is mounted and fixed correctly.
• that the collection bag is in position.
• that the power supply cable is connected.
When all the above conditions are met, the equipment can be used.
11. Operation
The MS Seeds 200 is a machine for the shelling and cleaning of the seeds housed in the flowers of cannabis or indus-
trial hemp.
The flowers are manually introduced into the machine through the input hopper and are subjected to two pro-
cesses. In the first one, the shelling of the seeds is carried out by action of a rotary mechanism. In the second and
last, the seeds are cleaned by the action of a ventilation system that separates them from the plant material housed
in them. The plant material is stored in an easily removable filter/collection bag and the seeds, on the other hand,
are deposited in a plastic bucket.
Therefore, the intervention of an operator is necessary in the initial phase for the introduction of cannabis into the
sheller, and in the second, for regulating the speed of rotation of the fan, depending on the variety of flowers to be
processed and the conditions of the product.
11.1. Product conditions
Master Seeds 200 has been designed to work with all types of dried flowers where the humidity level is approxima-
tely 5-10%. It is important to underline that the lower the % humidity in the product, the faster and more efficient
the shelling process will be and, conversely, the higher the % humidity, the slower and less efficient it will be.
