1. Release and remove the hose clamp from the con-
nection hose.
2. Open the locks on the filter chamber cover.
3. Remove the filter chamber lid.
4. Pull the new dust bag over the filter chamber and the
inserted filter.
5. Pull the filter into the dust bag and out of the waste
container.
6. Close and dispose of the dust bag.
7. Thoroughly clean the exterior of the device before
fitting the new filter.
8. Check the sealing ring for damage.
9. Insert the new filter in reverse sequence and take
care to ensure that the filter spreader is aligned cor-
rectly in the filter bag.
Troubleshooting guide
DANGER
Unintentional start-up of the device / electric shock
Unintentional start-up of the suction motor can cause in-
juries. Voltage present on electrical parts can cause an
electric shock.
Switch off the device and unplug the mains plug before
performing any work on the device.
The motor (suction turbine) does not start running
No electrical voltage present
Check the socket and the power supply fuse.
Check the mains cable and the mains plug of the de-
vice.
Check all parts for clogging.
Check the fit of all electrical connections.
Suction power slowly reduces
Filter, nozzle, suction hose or suction pipe clogged.
Check the accessory for clogging.
Clean the accessory if necessary.
Clean the filter.
Replace the filter if necessary.
Escaping dust when vacuuming
Filter not correctly fastened or faulty.
Clean the filter and insert it correctly.
Check the filter for faults and replace if necessary.
Customer Service department
If the malfunction cannot be corrected, the device must
be checked by the Customer Service department.
The warranty conditions issued by our relevant sales
company apply in all countries. We shall remedy possi-
ble malfunctions on your appliance within the warranty
period free of cost, provided that a material or manufac-
turing defect is the cause. In a warranty case, please
contact your dealer (with the purchase receipt) or the
next authorised customer service site.
