6.2. Check before Use
6.2.1. Brake Inspection
Make sure your brakes are operating properly before each use.
•
Start off carefully and let go of the throttle lever. The scooter must
come to a complete stop as usual.
• When stopped, the mechanical brakes must engage with an audible
click. hould you notice any unusual braking behavior, please notify
your dealer right away and ensure the scooter is not being used.
•
The motor brake is functioning correctly if you can't push the
scooter when it is turned off.
• Should you nevertheless be able to do so, then the electro-magnetic
brakes are defective. In this case you may no longer use the scooter.
Contact your dealer immediately.
6.2.2. Checking the lights, indicators
and horn
Make sure your lights, indicators and horn are functioning properly
before each use.
•
If a unit under inspection does not react when the corresponding
button on the control panel is pushed, please notify your dealer
immediately and ensure the scooter is not being used.

6.2.3. Inspection of Tyres
Before embarking on any journey, check that the tyres are in good
condition.
•
Check the tyre pressure. This should be 3.5 bar.
•
Carry out a regular check of the tread depth of the tyres once a
month. This should be at least 1 mm.
•
Any faulty or worn out tyres must be changed through your
mobility dealer.
6.3. Batteries
Your scooter is equipped with maintenance-free gel batteries whose
fluid level doesn't need to be checked.
If your scooter is not used for an extended period, the charger should
be connected about every 4 weeks to prevent damage to the batteries
by deep discharge.
Before embarking on any journey, just check the charge status of
your battery on the battery status display located on your controller.
If the battery status display is in the low range, do not travel longer
distances and promptly connect the battery charger to the scooter. We
recommend connecting the charger to the scooter after every journey.
