If your appliance does not have the
accessories described above, you can
also purchase them separately by going
to www.mellerware.com or by
contacting our customer service team.
Installation
- Be sure to remove all packaging
material from inside the appliance.
- Ensure that the fan is switched off from
the supply mains before start any
installation or assembly operation.
- Take the motor out of the packaging.
To avoid damaging the housing
surfaces, mount the motor on a soft
surface.
- In order to avoid electric shock, make
sure that the power supply has been
previously disconnected.
- The electrical installation must be
done in accordance with current
regulations, connecting the fan to
ground as a precaution against eventual
electric shock.
- It is recommended that the installation
be done by a professional.
- Install the fan at a minimum distance of
2,50 meters from the ground or other
objects.
FAN INSTALLATION
- See "FAN INSTALLATION" at the
beginning of the instructions manual.
- In the package, you will find the
material for fixing the bracket to the
ceiling. This material is not suitable
depending on what type of roof. Ask
a professional and use the fixing
means that you think are the most
suitable.
IMPORTANT:
- Do not turn on the ceiling fan if the
blades are not in place, or the fan will
not work properly.
ASSEMBLING THE BATTERY/S
- Caution: During the handling of
batteries, do not touch both poles at
the same time, as this will provoke
the partial discharge of the stocked
energy therefore affecting longevity.
- Remove the cover of the battery
compartment.
- Check that the plastic covering that
protects the battery has been
removed (some batteries are sold
-
with a protective covering).
- Put the battery in its compartment,
respecting the polarity.
- Replace the cover of the battery
compartment.
- It is essential that the batteries
should always be the same kind and
the same charge. Never mix alkaline
batteries with normal one (Carbon-
Zinc) and/or rechargeable ones.
- IMPORTANT: When changing the
batteries, the configuration of the
appliance will be removed, and you
will need to reset the parameters of
the appliance.
