Inserting candles
OVAL CANDLE 35
• Place the candle central on the candle holder.
The 3 pins of the candle holder ensure a secure standing position (Figure C1).
OVAL CANDLE 55
• Place the candle central on the candle holder.
The 4 blades of the candle holder ensure a secure standing position (Figure C2).
SETTING UP OVAL CANDLE
Standing OVAL CANDLE
• Place your OVAL CANDLE on a fl at and stable surface.
Hanging OVAL CANDLE (Figure E)
• Attach the supplied hanging cord to a hook with suffi cient load-bearing capacity
(approx. 10 kg) or tie it to a suitable support.
• Hang your OVAL CANDLE with the notch on the hook of the hanging cord.
With all set-up variants, make sure that it is an appropriate location, so you do not
have to move your OVAL CANDLE after lighting it.
MOUNTING THE OVAL CANDLE WITH THE WALL BRACKET (FIGURE F)
Mounting the wall bracket on concrete or brick
• For secure attachment to concrete, a pre-drilled hole with Ø 6 x 50 mm must be
made at the intended location.
• Use the fi xing screw with dowel included in the scope of delivery to securely
fasten the mounting plate.
Mounting the wall bracket on wood
• Use the fi xing screw included in the scope of delivery to securely fasten the
mounting plate.
Screwing the wall bracket onto the mounting plate
• Screw the wall bracket onto the mounting plate mounted on the wall, making
sure that the notch points upwards.
Hook in OVAL CANDLE
• Hook your OVAL CANDLE in the notch on the wall holder.
LIGHTING THE CANDLE
• Use a stick lighter or a long match to light the candle to prevent burns.
NOTICE
If wax has accumulated on the candle holder, it must be removed before the next
lighting in order to ensure safe operation.
• Always keep a fi re blanket or fi re extinguisher within reach to prevent or
extinguish a possible fi re.
CAUTION!
During operation, the extinguishing cover must be on the glass cylinder and in
the open position (position D2).
Otherwise the hanging bar will become hot and can cause burn injuries when
touched.
Never use your OVAL CANDLE without the extinguishing cover (Figure D3).
EXTINGUISHING
• Slide the extinguishing cover to the extinguishing position (Figure D1). Hold the
extinguishing cover by the handle so that you do not burn yourself on the hot
extinguishing cover.
• Never let the candle burn down completely. We recommend replacing the candle
when the remaining length is approx. 2-3 cm.
NOTICE
After the candle has been extinguished, it must not be left unattended. Wait for
all parts to cool to room temperature. Make sure that the candle is completely
extinguished so that the candle does not pose a fi re hazard.
