2. Align the second reader on top of the reader
that is connected to your computer.
3. Use the side tabs and connector slots
on the back of the readers to snap them
tightly together.
4. Connect one reader to another using the
18 cm 9-pin to 9-pin FireWire 800 cable
that came with each reader.
5. Repeat Step 4 until you have connected
the number of readers that you want.
NOTE: Daisy-chaining more than four readers
together is not recommended.
How to connect an RW024 to an RW034
In the event that you also use an older model of Lexar Professional Reader,
you can purchase a cable that allows you to connect a RW024 (FW400 or A)
to your new RW034 (FW800 or B) reader. To purchase this cable specifically
designed to connect your RW034 to your RW024, please visit store.lexar.com
(part number 60286).
1. Connect the RW034 to your FW 800 port on your computer.
2. Use the Firewire A to Firewire B cable to connect the RW024 to RW034.
NOTE: To obtain optimum data transfer speeds, you should connect the
RW034 to your computer first and then connect the RW024 to the RW034.
