The Bed Transfer Chair is designed to facilitate the daily life of caregivers of patients using wheelchairs,
helping them to transport and / or transfer users from one place to another in an easy and comfortable way.
It is height adjustable, so it can be adapted to seats of different levels.
MATERIALS
Steel structure. PP, PVC and PA plastics.
WARNINGS
■ Any serious incident involving the product must be reported to the manufacturer and to the competent
authority of the Member State in which the user and the patient are established.
Pre-use checks:
■ Read the instructions before installation.
■ Confirm that all components and parts are properly assembled and screwed together before use.
■ Be sure to fasten the safety buckle and seat belt before using the transfer chair.
During use:
■ Be sure to lock the wheels when getting in or out of the transfer chair.
■ If someone sitting in the transfer chair wants to reach for an object, they should not lean too far in case
the chair tips over due to weightlessness.
■ When adjusting the seat height, the front wheels must be locked.
■ The wheelchair should travel on the smooth floor and avoid bumps or obstacles in case of tipping over.
■ When traveling downhill on a slope of more than 5 degrees, the chair should face upwards (user faces
upwards). The operator holds the plastic backrest to move the chair downhill in reverse. If the chair faces
downhill when going downhill, the user may lean forward or even fall.
■ Do not exceed the maximum user weight: 100 kg.
■ Be sure to lock all 4 wheels when the chair remains on slopes.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Do not scratch or scrape the surface of the product with hard objects to avoid damaging the material.
- For daily cleaning and maintenance, wipe the product with a damp cloth with neutral synthetic detergent
and then wipe off the dirt with a dry cloth.
- Keep away from strong acids and strong alkalis to avoid corrosion.
- Periodically check for loose nuts or bolts or damaged or cracked parts. If necessary, replace damaged
parts.
WARRANTY
KMINA warrants this device to be free from defects. The warranty will remain in effect for 3 years from the
date of original purchase by the consumer. The warranty does not extend to parts exposed to natural wear
and tear requiring periodic replacement. This warranty does not cover:
- Replacement parts supplied by anyone other than KMINA or the authorized dealer.
- Any failure of the unit during the warranty period that is not caused by a defect in material or workmanship
or if the failure is caused by misuse.
- KMINA is not liable for accidental damage or damage to property.
