TIPS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
•
The reversible die-cast aluminum plate is oven safe up to 450 °F / 230 °C.
•
BBQ safe. When grilling always keep the lid open. After use, always remove the reversible
grill / griddle from BBQ. DO NOT exceed 450 °F / 230 °C.
•
Before each use, ensure the handles are securely attached and retighten as necessary.
•
Ensure the silicone pads are well placed and secured.
•
For better non-stick performance, it is recommended to add a teaspoon of cooking oil
prior to each use.
•
Never heat an empty reversible die-cast aluminum plate. Be sure there is oil, butter, liquid
or food before using the appliance.
•
Never cut anything on the reversible die-cast aluminum plate or use utensils with sharp
edges to avoid piercing the non-stick surface.
•
The grease will accumulate on the grill side; handle with caution as the grease run-off is
very hot. Empty only when the cookware has completely cooled down.
•
Never use metal scouring pads to clean the non-stick surface.
•
Never poor cold water on the plate while it is hot. Sudden changes of temperature may
cause metal to warp, resulting in an uneven bottom. Let the plate cool down on its own or
place in lukewarm soapy water.
•
The exterior may become dull and discolored due to the action of certain detergents.
Our warranty does not cover this type of wear, as the performance of the plate is not affected.
•
Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Use protective oven mitts to remove the reversible die-cast aluminum plate, if still hot.
1.
Ensure that the appliance is completely cooled and unplugged from electrical outlet
before cleaning. Remove the temperature control dial from the socket before cleaning
the appliance.
2.
Remove excess oil on the reversible die-cast aluminum surface and remove the reversible
cooking plate from the vented stainless-steel base.
NOTE: DO NOT remove the silicone protective guards on the plate support located on the base.
3.
Thoroughly wash both sides of the reversible cooking surface with a hot, soapy cloth/sponge.
NOTE: Reversible die-cast aluminum plate is dishwasher safe. Take note that the shine of
the coating may become dull and discoloured due to the action of certain detergents.
Our warranty does not cover this type of wear, as the performance of the reversible die-cast
aluminum plate is not affected.
CAUTION: After use, do not pour cold water onto the appliance, as the sudden temperature
change may damage the appliance or create a burn hazard.
NOTE: DO NOT use bleach or abrasive cleansers/scouring pads to clean the appliance, as they
may damage the non-stick finish.
4.
Rinse with hot water and dry thoroughly.
5.
Wipe the vented stainless-steel base with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
NOTE: DO NOT immerse the vented stainless-steel base, heating element or power cord in
water or any other liquids. DO NOT place in the dishwasher.
6.
Ensure the socket and electrical pins are completely dry before storing or resuming use.
7.
If cleaning the temperature control dial is necessary, wipe with a soft damp cloth or
sponge and dry thoroughly.
NOTE: DO NOT immerse in water or place temperature control dial in a dishwasher.
8.
Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.
