Crisper drawer
This is the specific location for storing fruit and vegetables in a perfect state of preservation
(Fig. 11).
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
For hygienic reasons, the fridge (as well as the exterior and interior accessories) should be
cleaned regularly at least every two months.
Warning!
To avoid electric shocks, the appliance must not be connected to the mains during cleaning.
Before cleaning the appliance, switch it off and disconnect it from the mains.
Cleaning the exterior
-
To keep your refrigerator looking good, you should clean it regularly.
Dampen a cloth instead of spraying water on the refrigerator. Clean doors, handles and
surfaces with a neutral cleaning agent and dry them with a soft cloth.
Warning
-
Do not use sharp objects for cleaning as they may scratch the surface.
-
Do not use thinner, car detergent, bleach, ethereal oil, abrasive cleaners or organic solvents
such as benzene for cleaning. They may damage the surface of the appliance and cause a
fire.
Inside cleaning
-
The inside of the appliance must be cleaned frequently. It will be easier to clean when there
is little food inside. To clean the interior you can use a diluted solution of baking soda and
water and then rinse with a damp sponge or cloth, or you can use a specific non-abrasive
cleaning product.
-
Dry thoroughly before refitting shelves and drawers. Dry all surfaces and removable parts
thoroughly before replacing them.
-
Although this appliance defrosts automatically, a layer of frost may form on the inside
walls of the refrigerator compartment if the door is opened frequently or kept open for
too long. If the frost is too thick, choose a time when the refrigerator is almost empty and
proceed as follows:
1. Remove food and accessories from inside the refrigerator, unplug the appliance from the
mains and leave the doors open. Ventilate the room well to speed up the process.
2. When defrosting is complete, clean the refrigerator as described above.
