Using To Marinate Foods
Your Buffalo Vacuum Pack Machine can also be used with a Vacuum pack canister (not supplied) to speed up marinating of food..
The machine has 2 options for marinating , Quick Marinate Mode (approx 15mins ) and Normal Marinate Mode (approx 27mins).
The following instructions use the CB578 Vogue 2.5L Square vacuum canister as an example.
Note: When using the canister for marinating, the knob on the canister lid should be in the 'Open' position.

Place product into the canister (do not fill past 2.5L line). Make sure the canister lid is dry and the lid gasket is without any powder or
food debris. Place lid into position.
Turn the knob on the Lid to the "open" position.

Connect the hose to the Accessory port on the machine and the port on the canister lid.
Press the "Marinate" button and choose the marinate option. Press once for Quick Marinate Mode, "1" will appear on the digital display;

press twice for Normal Marinate Mode, "2" will appear on the digital display.
Note: In Quick Marinate Mode, the cycle is about 15mins, in Normal Marinate Mode, the cycle is about 27mins.
Press the "Start" button while slightly pressing down the lid for 3-5s. The machine will start vacuuming. When the canister reaches the

correct pressure, the machine will stop automatically. Air extraction lights will continually flash from Min to Max

After approx 4mins (Quick Marinate Mode) or approx 8mins (Normal Marinate Mode), the canister vacuum will slowly release. Air
extraction lights will continually flash from Min to Max

When all the Vacuum has been released the vacuum process will be repeated.
When the marinate process is complete, 0 will appear on the digital display and the machine will beep. Turn the canister knob to "Lock"

Pressing the "Cancel" button at any time will stop the Marinating process.

Note :Use only canisters designed for vacuum packaging. Other containers can implode under the vacuum pressure
of the Vacuum Sealer.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
Always allow to cool before cleaning.
Vacuum Chamber tray can be removed for cleaning
Use warm, soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the appliance.
Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
A BUFFALO dealer or qualified technician should carry out repairs if required.
