With this function you specify a desired time,
and when that time is reached during play-
back, the volume
is gradually decreased
and playback ends.

While the disc is stopped or paused:
Press TIME FADE.
The "—~:——" indication will be shown on
the display panel.

Press the numeric buttons to
specify
the
playback time.

TIME FADE to specify the play-
back time.
(5 seconds through 99 minutes and 59
seconds)
For example, to play a disc for 30 minutes
and then stop:

. Keep pressing pm
SKIP until the dis-
play shows " 30 ".
Pressing kd SKIP starts the countdown
from 99,
. Press TIME FADE to enter "30".
. Press PP SKIP to specify" og *.
Pressing k<q SKIP starts the countdown
from 59.
4. Press TIME FADE to enter "00".
If you make a mistake when specifying the
time, press CLEAR and specify it again.

Press > PLAY to begin play-
back.
"T. FADE" flashes and the volume is
gradually decreased starting five sec-
onds before the specified time, and the
disc is paused. Time fade is cancelled
simuitaneously.
