Installation
 Place the SwimSkim in the pond and fasten it.
– Fastening at the pond edge: Fasten one securing cord each from the scope of delivery on
the eyelets of the two floats. Fasten the securing cords at the pond edge using ground
stakes so that the SwimSkim is in the desired position.
– Fastening at the bottom of the pond: Fasten one securing cord each from the scope of de-
livery on the two eyelets on the bottom of the unit. Fasten the securing cords at the bot-
tom of the pond, e.g. using rocks, so that the SwimSkim is in the desired position.

Only start up the SwimSkim when it is fastened in the pond.
 The kickback generated by the outflow nozzle holds the skimmer in the position you have
determined using the securing cords.
Commissioning/start-up
Switching on: Connect the unit to the mains. The unit switches on immediately.
Switching off: Disconnect the unit from the mains.
