Battery Life and Usage
Two (2) AA batteries are required for use. Lithium
batteries provide the best performance and are strongly
recommended. Alkaline and NiMH batteries can be
used in an emergency; the low battery warning is not
accurate for these batteries. No other battery types are
supported.

Using the inReach's Iridium
requires a clear view of the sky. A subscription is
required to operate this device.
