and then automatically returns to the bright state
Sensor sensitivity
Depending on the welding process and the ambient light, select the minimum amount of light required for the front sensors to
enable the protective screen guard as follows:
• Turn the knob to LO for high current welding in a bright welding environment or in an environment with other interference sources.
• Turn the knob to HI for low current welding or in a low light environment, especially in case of low current argon arc welding.
• Turn the knob half way for most indoor and outdoor welding operations.
Delay time
The amount of time required by the helmet to switch back from full dark to full light.
The delay time ranges from 0.25s to 1.0s. Set the delay time as follows:
• If the minimum value is selected, the delay time will be set to 0,1-0,25s, suitable for spot welding, short welding or seam welding
• If the maximum value is selected, the delay time will be set to 0,85-1,0s suitable for high current welding or preventing eye fatigue
from electric arcs or close viewing of incandescent pieces. adatto per saldatura ad alta corrente o per prevenire l'affaticamento
degli occhi dovuto agli archi elettrici o a visione ravvicinata di pezzi ancora incandescenti.
• The medium value is suitable for most welding operations.
