SAFETY
Intended use:
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applica-
tions such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.
It is prohibited to make any technical changes to the appliance.
Do not use the appliance for unauthorized purposes since this would
create serious hazards!
The appliance may not be used by children under 8 years of age or per-
sons with physical, sensory or mental impairment, or lacking the neces-
sary experience, unless supervised or after being instructed in the safe
use of the appliance and understanding the potential dangers.
Do not let children play with the appliance.
Keep the appliance and its mains lead out of the reach of children under
8 years of age.
The necessary cleaning and maintenance meant to be performed by the
user must not be carried out by children if not under direct supervision
and older than 8 years.
Installation site:
Store the appliance in a safe place, where no one can upturn it or be
injured by it. Do not store the appliance at a temperature of below 4°C;
frost can damage it. Do not use the appliance outdoors. Do not stand
the appliance on very hot surfaces and/or near naked flames.
Power supply:
Only plug the appliance into a suitable power socket.
The voltage must correspond to that specified on the appliance plate.
Power supply cable:
Do not use if the power lead is faulty. If the power lead is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer or its technical assistance service
to avoid any risks. Do not run the power lead around corners, sharp edges
or over very hot items.
Do not pull or hold the appliance by the lead.
Do not pull on the lead to remove the plug; do not touch with wet hands.
Do not allow the power lead to drop freely from tables or shelves.
Danger of electrocution:
Live parts should never come into touch with water.
Do not immerse the appliance in water.
