Pairing
In order to allow the communication to be established between the access
point and the SEFM wall module, both have to exchange a security code
between one-another (pairing).
The pairing button on the SEFM wall module must be pressed for approx.
1 second in order to start the pairing process. The wall module now sends
pairing signals at short intervals for up to 5 minutes. This status is indicated
by a continuous beep and flashing of the radio control LED (red).
During the pairing process, the battery must be inserted into the access
point. After inserting the battery, the access point waits 30 seconds long for
the reception of a pairing signal.
Successful pairing is indicated on the wall module by 2 beeps where the
intensity of the radio signal is also indicated (3 RSSI-LEDs).
An empty battery will not affect the pairing. After a battery is changed,
operation of the access point can be resumed immediately without repeat-
ing the pairing procedure.
The products must not be disposed of as household waste.
