Extreme heat or cold shortens the service life and/or can cause
damage to the batteries.
•
Do not expose the device to fire, heat, direct sunlight or
excessive temperatures.
•
Do not place the device near a heat source (oven, heater or hot
radiator).
•
Always comply with the ambient temperatures specified in the
technical data for storage and operation.
The device can get damaged if it is used incorrectly to vacuum
objects.
•
Only use the surface cleaner to vacuum the surface that has been
wetted with the cleaning solution.
•
Do not use the surface cleaner as a vacuum cleaner for picking
up solid particles such as crumbs.
Leaking water can damage delicate objects and surfaces.
•
Pronounced dripping may occur if the surface cleaner is not used
correctly. As a precaution, remove any items underneath the
surfaces to be cleaned that could be damaged by water.
•
Only use the surface cleaner with the water tank installed.
Dirty or damaged cleaning cloths can damage the surface being
cleaned.
•
To avoid damage to the surfaces being cleaned, do not use
cleaning cloths that are heavily soiled or contaminated with
particles of dirt or grit.
•
Thoroughly examine the cleaning cloth for contaminants prior to
each use in order to prevent damage to the surface being
cleaned.
•
Remove any coarse dirt from the surface being cleaned before
using the surface cleaner.
•
Do not use fabric softener or similar substances to clean the
cloth.
•
Do not use bleach to clean the cloth.
•
Wash the cleaning cloth at max. 60 °C.
•
Allow the cleaning cloth to dry (it may also be dried in a tumble
dryer).
