5/POWER SOURCE
This calculator operates on disposable dry bat-
teries or AC with the use of an AC adaptor.
@ Dry battery operation
When battery power decreases the whole display
darkens or printing speed becomes
slow. It is
recommended that batteries be renewed. Switch
off the power before changing.
Replacement of batteries:
1) Slide open the battery compartment lid on the
back of the unit.
2} Remove dead batteries.
3) Insert new batteries with the polarity as shown
by the ® © symbols.
4) Replace the battery compartment
tid.
5) After turning the power switch on, press the
ALL RESET button (SR-5 only).
*Be sure to replace ail batteries.
*Do not leave dead batteries in the battery com-
partment as they may cause malfunctions.
*It is recommended
that batteries be replaced
every 2 years.
@ AC operation
Use only an adaptor with the same voltage rat-
ing (700,
117, 220 or 240V) as your power sup-
ply to prevent component damage.

2/COMO CAMBIAR EL RODILLO
ENTINTADO
La impresora de este modelo utiliza un rodillo en-
tintado descartable (tipo cartucho). Si las impre-
siones fueran muy débiles o ilegibles, reemplace
el rodillo por uno nuevo.
1) Abra la cubierta del impresor (Fig. 4).
2) Extraiga el rodillo entintado tirando del mismo
hacia arriba (Fig. 5).
3) Instale un rodillo entintado nuevo
(Fig. 6).
4) Asegurese de que el rodillo quede bien instala-
do, y vuelva a poner la cubierta.
NOTA:
Nunca coloque rodillos de tinta liquida, porque
puede derramarse u obturar la impresora. Utilice
Unicamente los cartuchos Casio {SR-5: IR-50P/
HR-8: IR-40}.
