3 INSTALLATION AND PLACEMENT
3.1 Installation Instructions
To be able to use a CowManager ear sensor, it must be activated in your CowManager system
first. For activation, the CowManager application must be installed on your PC and a so-
called "Coordinator" must be connected and configured.
Details regarding the installation of the CowManager system can be

It is important to correctly attach the ear sensor to the cow's ear in a secure manner to
avoid them from turning or falling off. The ear sensor can be attached to the ear either with
the use of an ear sensor compatible EID or a blank tag.
Before using (electronic) ear tags for attaching the CowManager ear sensor, you should
familiarize yourself with the local laws and regulations regarding the use of ear tags in cows.
